Our Mission / Vision

The Western Ventura County Employer Advisory Council (WVCEAC) is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving employers across West Ventura County. Operating as a local chapter of the California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC), WVCEAC exists to support the business community through education, collaboration, and the practical exchange of employment-related knowledge.

WVCEAC’s mission is to educate and empower employers to better understand and manage the challenges associated with employment law, workplace regulations, and human resources practices. Through affordable and timely seminars, workshops, and educational programs, the organization provides insight into current legal requirements, emerging legislation, compliance considerations, and best practices that impact today’s workplaces. The goal is not only compliance, but confidence, helping employers make informed decisions that support both their organizations and their employees.

In addition to education, WVCEAC serves as a forum for open dialogue among business owners, executives, HR professionals, and subject matter experts. By bringing together diverse perspectives from the local business community, WVCEAC fosters thoughtful discussion around real-world workplace issues and encourages the sharing of practical solutions and experiences.

WVCEAC is governed by a volunteer board of directors composed of professionals from a wide range of industries throughout West Ventura County. The organization operates independently and is driven by the needs of its members and the broader employer community. Through its programs and events, WVCEAC remains committed to providing relevant, accessible, and actionable information that helps employers navigate a complex and evolving employment environment.
